Matthew is an emerging sport and exercise science practitioner who is passionate about providing individuals from all backgrounds with a high level of thorough and precision services in healthcare and sports performance.
He completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport & Science degree at Deakin University in 2020, and is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology at Deakin University.
Matthew interests and clinical focus includes:
Capacity building and therapeutic support services (strength; mobility; balance; stamina) for individuals affected by disabilities (NDIS).
Injury prevention and management for athletes.
Exercise therapy for those affected by chronic conditions; particularly metabolic health.
Sports high performance assessments, programs and monitoring; particularly athletics; triathlon; football; motor racing.
Children's growth and development
Exercise and aging.
VO2max, anaerobic threshold, running economy.
